Liverpool raised the Premier League trophy for the first time in front of their fans after 1-1 on Sunday with Crystal Palace in Anfield.
The iconic stadium broke out in celebration while the Reds were presented with the trophy, marking a historical moment that the club and supporters will never forget. When Liverpool previously won the title of Premier League, in 2019/20, fans had not been admitted within Anfield due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Look around. This club is incredible, these fans are incredible,” said the head of the coach Arne Slot.
“One of the most special moments of the season, of course. It is so special today and it was special a month ago [when Liverpool clinched the title].
“I dream that you can always do, but as a manager, I don’t dream so much. I didn’t expect this.”
