The Maryam Abaccha American University of Nigeria (Maaun) has condemned the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), for the disappearance of his Registration and CEO, Prof. Tosan Erhabor.
Mr. Erhabor was said to have died on Sunday evening, April 13, 2025, in Abuja after a short illness.
The condolence message was sent in a declaration issued by the founder and president of the Maaun University Group, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo in Kano on Monday.
Gwarzo said that Erhabor’s death was a great loss not only for his immediate family, but for the whole country in view of his enormous contribution to the profession.
“In particular, Nigeria and the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria have actually lost a great scholar since his leadership, dedication and contributions to the profession will miss a lot.
“So, on behalf of the group of Maaun University, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to his family, members and colleagues on the great loss,” said Gwarzo.
The founder of Maaun has also extended his deepest condolences to the entire management of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria for the premature death of Erhabor.
He prayed to God to console the family, the friends and colleagues of the deceased right now in mourning and give them the fortress to endure the irreparable loss.
