Macban claims that armed men kill Herder, 25 cows in highlands attacks

Miyetti Allah Cow Nigerian Association (Macban), has increased alarm over the killing of a shepherd and 25 cows in the fan district of the Ladi Ladi Regional Government.

The head of the Macban State, Ibrahim Yusuf Babayo, who confirmed the incident to journalists in Jos on Thursday, said that the armed people attacked the shepherd while grazing them and fired shots on them, killing their shepherds and animals.

Babayo added that a shepherd who was lost after the attack was found dead near the attack scene.

Explaining further, Chairman Macban said the attack occurred in two separate locations with the first attack occurred in Lairi Village on Sunday, and the second in Katang on Tuesday.

Describing the attack as a destroyer, Babayo accused members of the ethnic group of being responsible, added that he had told security institutions, including public officials who led 3 divisions and commissioners of state police.
