In a passionate message for the team after its World Cup qualification and the semifinal victory, Hon. Adeyinka reminded players that the mission is not yet complete.

“We have chosen the World Cup ticket, which is the last, but now we believe in them to bend,” said Adeyinka. “Mr. President is proud of these children. They have already proud of Nigeria, but must be kept focused. All celebrations can wait until after Sunday’s final.”

He praised the team’s commitment so far and urged them not to lose sight of the final objective, raising the continental trophy.

“They should not be distracted in any way. The whole nation is behind them, and we believe they can bring the trophy home. We are living all celebrations after Sunday.”

The flying eagles will face a determined South African side in what promises to be an exciting final, but with the observation of the nation and the support of the presidency, the expectations are high that Nigeria crowns its Afcon U-20 campaign with a historic triumph.
