Makinde approved the nomination of the former Gov Ladoja as the new Olubadan

The Governor of the State of Oyo, Seyi Makinde, has approved the nomination of the former Governor of Rashidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The approval attended a Wednesday meeting between the Delegation of the State Government and Ladoja, with members of the Olubadan Advisory Board who were present.

Former Governor’s Media Assistant, Head of Adeola Ooloko, told reporters at the end of the meeting that the installation of his school principal was set on September 26 at Mapo Hall in Ibadan.

Ladoja returned to Ibadan on Monday.

His nomination by the Olubad Advisory Board on August 4 followed the death of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin on July 7.
