Manchester City struggled Juventus 5-2 in their last group match at the FIFA Club World Cup which was taking place on Thursday night.
City advanced to round 16 as the winner of Group G while Juventus also passed the second place despite defeat.
Rodri took action for 66 minutes at the beginning of his first since last September when he suffered a big injury.
Erling Haaland joined the second half and scored his 300th career goal to help Manchester City ensure a big victory.

Jeremy Doku had opened the score at the beginning of the match and was almost immediately canceled by Juve’s equalizer through Teun Koopmeiners following a goalkeeper.
Pierre Kalulu scored his own goal to bring City to excel again as they headed to break.
Phil Foden and Savinho are other city goal scorers while Dusan Vlahović scored late for Juve, but the Pep Guardiola team survived to secure victory.
In other group games, Al Ain defeated Wydad AC 2-1, and the two teams were eliminated from the competition.
