Man killing mother, sister in Ekiti

The police operation in Ekiti has arrested a Victor Lorjaal for the alleged murder of his mother and sister in the state.

Spokesperson for State Police Command, Mr. Sunday Abutu, revealed this in a statement on Thursday at Ado-Ekiti.

He said the suspect who was allegedly hacked to death with the mother, was only identified as Ny. Victoria Lorjaal, and the sister, Brenda Lorjaal, on March 25.

Abutu said: “The deceased’s son told the police, his sister arrived at the farm, suddenly left him and went to see their mother and sister, where they worked.

“A few minutes later, he heard his mother screaming for help, but before he could get to them, his brother allegedly killed the two women and fled from the scene.

“The Commissioner of the State Police, Joseph Eribo, has ordered a comprehensive investigation of an unfavorable incident and sympathized with the family of the deceased.

“The suspect will be charged in court at the end of the investigation,” said the spokesman.
