Twenty years after her stunning Wimbledon triumph, Maria Sharapova returned to the All England Club to create even more indelible memories.

The five-time major winner walked through the historic venue with a pair of special guests: fiancé Alexander Gilkes and their son Theodore, who will turn two when the latest edition of The Championships begins on Monday.

“A little family trip to SW19,” Gilkes wrote on his Instagram.

In the carousel post he shared, the happy family is seen taking portraits in the field. Sharapova also showed Theodore his name on the champions list.

While on the ground, the child adorably waved to passing kids.

Even catching a glimpse of reigning men’s champion Carlos Alcaraz training on an outdoor court was an opportunity not to be missed.

At 17, Sharapova entered the Grand Slam honor roll by defeating Serena Williams in the 2004 final.

Mirra Andreeva, who hopes to follow in her footsteps this year as a 17-year-old Russian contender, had the chance to meet the former world No. 1 on Saturday.

Over the course of her career, Sharapova has compiled a 46-14 record in major grass-court tournaments.

In 2011 she came second to Petra Kvitova and reached three other semi-finals.

When the 2012 Olympics were held at SW19, Sharapova won the silver medal after being defeated by Williams in the championship match.
