Kate and Gerry McCann, Madeleine McCann’s parents, who were missing while on vacation in Portugal in 2007, had posted a message to their daughter on the 18th anniversary of his disappearance.
On the official Find Madeleine campaign page, the couple said that while they “did not have important news not to share, our determination not to leave the missed stone was not shaken”.
The message, who thanked the supporters and charity bodies involved in finding missing children, reflected that Madeleine’s 222 birthday was this month.

They wrote: “No matter how close or far he is, he continues to be here with us, every day, but especially on his special day. We continue to ‘celebrate’ him as a very beautiful and unique person. We miss him.”
The loss of Madeleine while on vacation with his family in Portugal’s Algarve is one of the most famous cases of missing persons in British history.

In January, a German prosecutor told Sky News that Christian bGerman -born drifter who is the main suspect in his departure, will not face any accusations in this case for the future.
Christian B, which cannot be fully identified based on the state’s laws, was exempt from unrelated rape and charges of child sex attacks last October.
