Meet Oluwafemi Moses Lawal who graduated with a historic first class score of 4,985.00 from OAU

The name of Oluwafemi Moses Lawal has been making headlines recently after he graduated with a historic 4.98/5.00 from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).

Clearly, Obafemi Awolowo University is one of the toughest universities in Nigeria. While the school is yet to produce 5.00/5.00, Oluwafemi Moses Lawal graduated with 4.98/5.00 and there is no way around it.

With a CGPA score of 4.98/5.00, Oluwafemi Moses Lawal has won the Best Graduating Student Award from Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State, Nigeria.

During his 4 years as a student in the Department of Management and Accounting of the School of Administration, he achieved a grade of B and A in all courses.

Outside the University walls, Oluwafemi has won the overall best student award 4 times in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) professional examinations with a total of 14 awards in three years. He has a total of 22 awards in four years.

Sharing the development, a LinkedIn influencer wrote, “Meet Oluwafemi Moses Lawal, CFA, who graduated with a 4.98/5.00 in Accounting, establishing himself as the top overall graduating student from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria.

During his four years of university studies, Oluwafemi obtained only one B and one A in all courses.

In addition to winning the university’s top student award, he received seven other awards, including best graduating student in the university’s Faculty of Administration and Department of Management and Accounting.

He said he also won the award for best student in Finance and Related Disciplines and best student in Taxation.

Outside the four walls of the university, Oluwafemi has also been ranked as the best student in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) professional examinations four times, garnering a total of 14 awards in three years.

A quick search on Oluwafemi Moses Lawal confirmed that he entered college in 2015 and graduated in 2019. He now works at Bank of America in London, UK.

He is now an investment banking associate with over 4 years of work experience. He is able to achieve this result because of his accounting skill.
