Meta Platform doubles its bet on the Creator’s economy, launching a series of new features driven by involvement on Facebook designed to expand the opportunities of monetization and deepen user interactions.
This step was taken when competition increased between the main platforms-including Tiktok, Youtube, and X-to capture both their creators and audiences in the fast growing market that surpassed $ 500 billion in 2030.
” Fans can now take part in the unique challenges of their favorite creators and get a special top fan badge to show off their superfan status. In the last three months, fans’ challenges have received more than 1.5 million entries sent by fans for challenges, producing comments and reactions from more than 10 million people, and more than 500 million fans globally who have received “Special Top Fans badge” or “Top fan badge” on Facebook. Access is limited to the Creator with 100K+ followers for fan challenges, placing the creator of Facebook in the center of experience. ” The company said in a statement issued on Tuesday morning.

According to Meta, these new tools include an upgraded fan subscription model, expanded tip features and giving prizes, and algorithm tweaks that provide higher visibility for content led by the maker.
These features are intended to direct the stiffness on Facebook while allowing the Creator to diversify their income flow outside of traditional advertising income.
“The creator is in the heart of the next growth phase for our platform,” Meta added. “These new features will help them connect deeper with the audience while building a sustainable business on Facebook.”
