Mexican senator exchange blow during plenary (video)

The parliamentary session at the Mexican Senate on Wednesday ended in chaos when the leaders of the senate threw politeness into the wind and exchanged blows during a fierce debate about the accusation that members of the opposition parliament called on the United States military intervention on drug cartels.

Reuters reported that the confrontation erupted when the Opposition Pri Party leader, Alejandro Moreno, marched to the podium at the closing of the session and angry with the President of the Senate Gerardo Fernández Noroña, who came from the ruling Morena Party, accusing him denied him.

In a video posted on the social media platform, Moreno is seen pushing Noroña several times, slapping her neck, and pushing another man to the ground when she tries to intervene.

In reporting failure, Reuters wrote:

“The Mexican Senate erupted into violence on Wednesday with a blow, pushing and shouting after the opposition party leader won the president of the room when the session ended.

“Alejandro” Alito “Moreno, Head of the Institutional Opposition Revolutionary Party (Pri), came to the President of the Senate Gerardo Fernandez Norona, from the Ruling Marena Party, when members of the parliament sang the national anthem to mark the end of the trial that day.

“The fight broke out after the” difficult debate “about the existence of the armed forces from other countries in Mexico, Fernandez Norona then told a press conference.

“In the video Deedrim, Moreno can be seen visiting Fernandez Norona, repeatedly saying,” I ask you to let me talk, “grabbed Fernandez Norona’s arm.

“Don’t touch me,” answered Fernandez Norona. Finally, the two began to push each other, with Moreno knocking a photographer in the process.

“Other parliamentary members also entered the commotion, swinging at Fernandez Norona when he tried to step away.”

A fight followed a tense debate, where the opposition of Pri and PAN was accused of advocating the US military intervention – claims both parties firmly denied.

After a fight, Fernández Noroña told reporters that he planned to submit complaints against Moreno to endanger the body and would ask for his legislative immunity to be revoked.

“The debate can be very hard, very bitter, very strong … today when the opposition legislator was exposed to their betrayal, they lost their minds because they were exposed,” said Fernández Noroña.
