The tragedy struck in Mexico on Tuesday night when Valeria Marquez, a 23 -year -old social media influencer who was known for his beauty and lifestyle content, was shot fatal when he immediately flowed into his audience in Tiktok.
The attack took place in a beauty salon in Zapopan, the western suburbs of Guadalajara, according to a statement issued by the state prosecutor’s office.
“The victim is someone with an active presence and influence on social media,” the prosecutor’s office confirmed. “A man entered the place and seemed to fire a gun at him,” added the statement.
Local media reported that Marquez was allegedly approached by a man who pretended to bring him a gift. He lived in Tiktok during the attack, and some followers reportedly witnessed the terrible moments revealed on their screen.

Marquez has built significant followers in Tiktok, where the video routinely attracts hundreds of thousands of appearances, especially those centered around fashion, beauty tips, and daily lifestyles.
The motive behind the murder is still unclear, and the authorities have not confirmed whether the crime is associated with his online presence or involving other personal or criminal elements.
This incident has turned on concerns about the safety of women in Mexico, especially public figures and influencers. According to the United Nations, around 10 women or girls were killed every day in Mexico, highlighting the national crisis of gender and criminal -based violence.
When the investigation continues, fans and fellow influencers have begun to pay tribute online, grieving over a short cut in acts of brutal and public acts of violence.
