Nollywood filmmaker Mildred Okwo has been brought to social media to accuse several film producers of raising funds for the progress of the film industry without results for display.
In the post distributed on his Instagram page, Mildred stated that some filmmakers were at the forefront to collect money for industry improvement, while those who really did work really needed funds and were trapped on the set.
Popular producer and film director also raises concerns about the lack of transparency and accountability in programs sponsored by the government which is intended to help the expansion of Nollywood.

Mildred, who is famous for producing films such as meetings and La Femme Anjola, emphasized that although government assistance can be very important in strengthening the creative sector, the misuse of funds erodes trust and growth.
” This nollywood, eh! Some are at the forefront to collect funds for the industry, while those who do the work that has been allocated by traffic jams in the set. ” He wrote.
