Darnold is a fairly accurate QB w/ decent arm strength & average processing. Most of his mistakes come courtesy of him mistiming his window, bc he lacks anticipation, & trying to fire in a pass he doesn’t possess the arm talent to complete. He’s also more of a touch passer due to that lack of elite arm strength. So long as he stays within game flow, he’s fine; the moment he tries to be something more than a game manager, he’s cooked. Let’s pray he picks the former & remains highly coachable 🙏🏾

We are playing great but Garrett Bradbury and Ed Ingram are a bad bad problem !!!! Lets hope we can get them both on the bench !!! Bradbury killed 3 drives and ingram killed 1 or 2 in this game
I knew Mackey would find a way to again make this about Kirk and his contract but it’s a flawed take…they are still paying Kirk’s contract this year…this defense was on its way to what you see here when Kirk hurt his Achilles last year when he was an mvp candidate. They were a d coordinator away from a deep run in 2022. Also- I’ll say it again you guys clowned on Quesi and the competitive rebuild approach before worshipping it now. You wanted then to rip this down like the bears and Ryan poles.
Darnold is further proof that Kirk was good enough to win big with. They might have another really tough decision to make at qb next off season…McCarthy is not the lock you make him out to be.
