‘My Joy Knows No Bound’ – Tanimu Thrilled To Make Super Eagles Debut

Benjamin Tanimu can’t hide his excitement after making his debut for the Super Eagles against the Black Stars of Ghana on Friday.

Tanimu was named in the starting line-up in Nigeria’s 2-1 friendly win against Otto Addo’s men.

The Ihefu SC defender paired Semi Ajayi and Chidozie Awaziem in central defence.

The 21-year-old was in action for 71 minutes before he was replaced by Ademola Lookman.

Tanimu took to the social media to celebrate his maiden appearance for the three-time African champions.

“My joy knows no bounds today. The debut came and I thank God for the Grace to play my part in the little way I could. Thanks to the coaching crew, the entire backroom staff and the senior players for the warm reception into the team,” defender posted on his X page.

“Thanks to my wonderful fans across the world, the lovely Nigerians who have expressed their love and have given me their support all years.
