Naf killed terrorists in Niger air strikes

The air component forces from the Yamma Sector 1 fan operation have killed terrorists in a series of precision air strikes in the state of Niger.

Director of Public Relations and Information, Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, revealed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

He said air strikes carried out from June 24 to June 26 targeted the terrorist behind the new attack in the state of Niger.

“The troops have gone through inter-service and inter-institutional cooperation, identifying terrorist activities involving attacks and rustling cows in the Kakihun and Kumbashi community.

“Quickly mobilizing air assets, the air component executed several precision strike waves that neutralize a number of terrorists, destroy their logistics, and interfere with the efforts to merge again.

“This operation shows the professionalism of the Naf, the ability to respond quickly, and strong coordination with land forces and other institutions.

“The Nigerian Air Force remains firmly committed to protect the life and property of all Nigerians and ensure eternal peace throughout the country,” the spokesman said.
