Nafisa Omar, PDP Vanguard leads the recording campaign of voters to Bauchi

An important northern politician, Hajiya Nafisa Omar, asked for an urgent action to encourage young people, women and Nigerians in general to actively participate in the recording of the voters of the current national electoral commission in progress.

He made the call during a one -day voters’ registration program, held in the conference room of the Federal Secretariat in Bauchi, organized by the National Youth Vanguard of the PDP.

Hajiya Nafisa, which also acts as a national president of the support group of Kaura United, underlined that the registration of the voters is the foundation of a functional democracy.

“The recording of voters is a fundamental step to ensure that citizens’ voices are listened to in the democratic process.

“It promotes inclusiveness, strengthens civic participation and allows people to make leaders responsible,” he said.

Hajiya Nafisa said that the benefits of the recording of the voters involve the guarantee of voting rights, the maintenance of careful rolls of voters, encourage democratic participation, influencing the political direction and promoting responsibility in governance.

The President of the PDP of the State of Bauchi, Alhaji Samaila Adamu Burga, represented by his deputy, Alhaji Danmi Garba Tashan Durumi, praised the initiative, describing it as timely and crucial.

He observed that mobilizing thousands of young people and unregistered citizens would be “the only legitimate path” for the PDP to guarantee electoral victory.

In the same way, the commissioner of the state of Bauchi for information, Alhaji Usman Shehu, represented by Manu Ali Kura, promised the support of the government in Cascata the mobilization campaign in all parts of the state.

“You inspired us to strengthen this thrust and ensure that young people and unregistered citizens get their electoral cards, which remain the only tool to elect the leaders of their choice and benefit from democratic dividends,” he said.

The event also characterized the presentation of prizes to Hajiya Nafisa Omar and many others for their contributions to the socio-political and economic development of their communities.
