Naira appreciates N1.02 to the dollar in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, appreciated the US dollar in an official window on Tuesday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 533.18/$ 1 compared to N1, 534.20/$ 1 which is traded on Monday.

This is the advantage of N1.02 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira closes flatly against the dollar to be traded in N1.540/$ 1.

Local currency, however, loss of N5 to British pounds to be traded on N2.120/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.115/£ 1.

It also closes flatly against Canadian dollars to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira obtained the N10 against Euro to trade in ₦ 1,790/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,800/€ 1.
