Naira appreciates the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, was obtained against the US dollar on the official market on Tuesday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1.579.27/$ 1 compared to N1, 581.58/$ 1 which is traded on Monday.

This is the advantage of N2.31 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira closes flatly against the dollar to be traded in N1.615/$ 1.

Naira obtained the N10 against the British pound to trade at N2.160/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.170/£ 1.

Naira closes flatly against Canadian dollars to be traded in N1.220/Ca $ 1.

Naira obtained N5 against Euro to trade in ₦ 1,805/€ 1 compared to ₦ 1,810/€ 1 before.
