Naira gets underestimated N0.68 to recover from the days of shrinkage

The Nigerian currency, Naira, received a trivial N0.68 of the US dollar in an official window on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 to reverse a few days of shrinkage.

According to Nigerian Central Bank data (CBN), Naira appreciates N1.611.55/$ 1 from N1, 612.23/$ 1 which is traded on Monday, April 7, 2025.

This shows that Naira is valued by N0.68 to the dollar every day.

In the black market, Naira was closed flat in N1, 565/$ 1 the same as the previous trading day.

Likewise, Naira closes flatly against the British pound to trade at N2,015/£ 1 is the same as the previous day rate.

Canadian dollars are still being held stable at N1.150/Ca $ 1 the same as the previous tariff N1.150/Ca $ 1.

Naira closed the flat against the euro to trade in ₦ 1, 670/€ 1 the same as the previous day level ₦ 1,670/€ 1.
