Naira got N0.75 against the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, recovered further against the US dollar in an official window on Friday.

Foreign exchange data of Bank Nigeria (CBN) central bank shows that Naira is closed on N1, 535.03/$ 1 compared to N1, 535.78/$ 1 which is traded on Thursday.

This is the advantage of N0.75 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira obtained the N10 against the dollar to trade at N1.550/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.545/$ 1.

Local currency, however, loss of N5 to British pounds to be traded on N2.105/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.100/£ 1.

Naira continued to close flatly against Canadian dollars to trade at N1.200/Ca $ 1.

N5 loss to the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,795/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,790/€ 1.
