Naira obtained N0.07 against dollars in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, received a marginal N0.07 against the US dollar on an official window on Friday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 534.71/$ 1 compared to N1, 534.78/$ 1 which is traded on Thursday.

This is the advantage of N0.07 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira lost N5 to the dollar to be traded in N1.540/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.535/$ 1.

Local currencies also lost N5 to British pounds to be traded on N2.115/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.120/£ 1.

However, it was closed flat against the Canadian dollar to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira lost the N10 to Euro to trade in ₦ 1,800/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,790/€ 1.
