Naira obtained N0.23 against the dollar in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, appreciated the US dollar in an official window on Monday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 528.33/$ 1 compared to N1.528.56/$ 1 which is traded on Friday.

This is the advantage of N0.23 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira obtained N5 against dollars to trade at N1.555/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.560/$ 1.

Local currencies also obtained N10 against British pounds to trade at N2.150/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.160/£ 1.

However, it was closed flat against the Canadian dollar to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira is the same as closing flat to the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,800/€ 1.
