Naira obtained N0.54 against the dollar in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, appreciated the US dollar in an official window on Wednesday.

Foreign exchange data of Bank Nigeria (CBN) central bank shows that Naira is closed on N1, 537.07/$ 1 compared to N1, 537.61/$ 1 which is traded on Tuesday.

This represents the profit of N0.54 for local currencies against American greenback

In the black market, Naira obtained an N2 to the dollar to trade at N1.545/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.547/$ 1.

Local currency, however, loss of N20 to British pounds to be traded on N2.125/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.105/£ 1.

It continues to close flat to the Canadian dollar to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira lost N18 to Euro to trade in ₦ 1,800/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,792/€ 1.
