Naira obtained N1.79 against dollars in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, appreciated the US dollar in the official window on Monday, August 4, 2025.

According to Nigerian Central Bank data (CBN), Naira was closed on N1, 531.95/$ 1 compared to N1, 533.74/$ 1 which was traded on Friday, August 1, 2025.

This is the advantage of N1.79 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira obtained an N2 to the dollar to trade at N1.563/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.565/$ 1.

Naira closes flatly against the British pound to trade at N2.120/£ 1 is the same as the previous day level N2.120/£ 1.

Naira continues to close flatly against Canadian dollars to trade at N1.200/Ca $ 1, equal to the previous day level N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira lost N5 to Euro to trade in ₦ 1,800/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,795/€ 1.
