Naira spilled N0.64 against the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, declined against the US dollar on an official window on Tuesday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1.545.26/$ 1 compared to N1.544.62/$ 1 which is traded on Monday.

This is the loss of N0.64 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira closes flatly against the dollar to be traded in N1,600/$ 1.

Likewise, Naira closes flatly against the British pound to trade at N2.160/£ 1.

Local currencies are also closed flat against Canadian dollars to be traded at N1.200/Ca $ 1.

It was closed flat against the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,800/€ 1.
