Naira spilled N1.22 against the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, depreciated the US dollar in an official window on Thursday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1.502.13/$ 1, such as N1.500.91/$ 1 which is traded on Wednesday.

This represents depreciation N1.22 for local currencies against American greenback.

Naira lost N5 to the dollar to be traded at N1.540/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.535/$ 1.

Naira closes flatly against the British pound to trade at N2.100/£ 1.

It also closes flatly against Canadian dollars to be traded in N1.230/Ca $ 1.

Local currency lost N5 to Euro to be traded in ₦ 1,790/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,785/€ 1.
