Naira spilled N1.34 against the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, depreciated the US dollar in an official window on Wednesday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 534.52/$ 1 compared to N1, 533.18/$ 1 which is traded on Tuesday.

This is the loss of N1.34 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira lost the N10 to the dollar to be traded at N1.550/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.540/$ 1.

Local currencies also lost N5 to British pounds to be traded on N2.125/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.120/£ 1.

It was closed flat against the Canadian dollar to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira lost the N10 to Euro to trade in ₦ 1,800/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,790/€ 1.
