Napoli rejected the offer of 65 million euros from Galatasaray for Victor Osimhen

Napoli has rejected an offer of 65 million euros of Galatasaray by Victor Osimhen, with the president of the club, Aurelio de Laurentiis, insisting that the striker will only be sold for his complete release clause of € 75 million.

As reported by Corriere Dello Sport, the Turkish champions made their first official offer in an attempt to ensure the permanent transfer of Osimhen before the January window closes. However, Napoli quickly rejected the offer, remaining firm in his assessment of the Nigerian striker.

Osimhen, currently lenting in Galatasaray until the end of the season, has been in an outstanding way, averaging almost a goal for game at the Turk Süper Lig.

His performances have convinced the club to press for a permanent movement, but its opening offer fell 10 million euros below the sale price of Napoli.

Osimhen’s future is still uncertain

The 26 -year -old joined Galatasaray on loan after not obtaining a permanent transfer from Napoli on the deadline.

Its loan agreement includes a rest clause that allows it to go in January if a European club meets its purchase clause of 75 million euros (£ 63.2 million).

Despite Galatasaray’s efforts, Napoli is still firm in his position. De Laurentiis rejected the offer, preferring to wait until summer when the full release clause applies to all potential buyers.

With several European clubs, according to reports, monitoring Osimhen, Napoli is prepared to maintain a higher offer in the next transfer window.
