Natasha revealed the next plan about the deadlock with a senate

The suspended senator representing the Central Kogi Senator District, Natasha Akpoti-Uuduaghan, said that on Tuesday she would approach the appeal court for the interpretation of the Federal High Court’s decision on the withdrawal of the upper legislative room and other problems.

Akpoti-Uduaghan stated this to journalists in Abuja after he was refused to enter the national assembly complex by security personnel.

Senator who was deferred on Tuesday opposed a heavy security blockade and arrived at the National Assembly Complex on foot from the Mopol gate, accompanied by a crowd of supporters led by the #Bringbackourgirls movement Ko-Convers, Aisha Yesufu.

Judge Binta Nyako from the Federal High Court, Abuja, last month ordered the recovery of MPs by the upper legislative room.

However, the Senate has reiterated its position that there was no court order to withdraw the senator before the end of his suspension.

Senate spokesman, Yemi Adaramodu, reiterates the position of the upper room in a statement on Sunday.

“This clarification is necessary, following the claims circulating by the suspended senator that he intends to continue at the Senate on Tuesday.

“This is based on misinterpretation of the new decision which was delivered by Hon. Judge Binta Nyako from the Federal High Court, Abuja,” he said.

Akpoti-Uduaghan, who opposed the rain on Tuesday, insisted that his suspension was not only unfair but also procedural flaws.

He said: “Even the suspension, Ab Initio, cheat. Documents that recommend my suspension are not even proven by the committee members. It is only a photocopy of attendance sheet that is passed as their signature.

“There is no reason whatsoever, contrary to the publication that I read yesterday (Monday), that I should not continue today because the senate has filed an appeal on my suspension assessment.

“That’s wrong. What I compare is insult, and it is separate. The judgment comes in two parts.

“One way to overcome this insult is based on a satirical apology letter that I made on Facebook, which according to the judge was wise in the same step insulting.

“But I say clearly that it does not mean insulting the court because before Judge Binta Nyako, it was not a matter of sexual harassment; that was a suspension problem.

“If we decide to turn away and go home, we do not ignore the fact that the National Assembly will most likely go to rest tomorrow (Wednesday) for two months.

“And they will continue quite a lot in the last week of September, and, as you said exactly, that means I will serve quite a lot of suspension of six months.

“I say that because until now, I am no longer suspended. And there is something very important I want to say, that even the suspension, AB Initio, cheat.”
