NATIONAL DEMONSTRATION: NEED FOR SECURITY FOR UNIVERSITY STAFF AND STUDENTS
The Senate of Abia State University has stressed the need to ensure the safety of staff and students of the University during the nationwide protest scheduled to commence from August 1, 2024.
The Senate has therefore approved a week of revision/free course at the University starting from July 31, 2024, to allow students to adequately prepare for the upcoming exams of the first semester 2024/2025, which are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
University staff and students are also advised to avoid frivolous travel during this period.
