Vice President Kashim Shettima has denied a report that the armed military unit has denied him to access the president’s villa, Abuja.
In a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja by his spokesman, Stanley Nkwocha, the vice president said that the publication was a story that has so far been removed from reality.
He said the wrong information could only be entertained by those who were not accustomed to the way the inner work of the Nigerian government.
Shettima, therefore, urged the Nigerians to ignore such dangerous publications and suggest the media to continue to find information from credible sources or close to sensational claims with carefulness that they deserve to get.
The statement reads: “This is our collective debt as a nation.”
He noted that there was a deliberate and well -planned falsehood orchestration.
VP added: “Reports are naughty and truly made -made all of this in an effort to cause confusion and quip a total clash during the presidency.
“These reports seek to mislead the public to believe there are disputes at the highest government level.

“The latest in the string of this disinformation is a report that claims that the Vice President has been rejected entry to the villa.
“This is a weak attempt to trade people and noble offices, Vice President of Kashim Shettima. For the record, no type occurs.
“This new publication by several unclear blogs that accusing that armed military units have withdrawn vice president from accessing the presidential villa not only the wildlife expression of wishful thinking.
“(This) clear indications that suppliers from these stories have run out of ink and imagination.”
