Manchester City were forced to a 1-1 draw by Newcastle United in their Premier League match on Saturday.
City, who had had a perfect start before being held to a 2-2 draw by Arsenal in their last match, were again forced to drop points.
It was Anthony Gordon’s second-half penalty in the 58th minute that gave Newcastle a point against the champions.

Mateo Kovacic and Rico Lewis combined well to replace the influential Rodri, who was ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
City defender Josko Gvardiol put the visitors ahead in the 35th minute when he finished cleverly with Jack Grealish’s pass.
Despite these efforts, the Magpies have managed just one win in 34 league meetings against City, who have now dropped four points in the space of a week.
