The U-17 Women’s National Football Team, Flamingo has been given the number of N6,000,000 by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) and billionaire businessman Kunle Soname.
Cash prizes came after Flamingos Meronta-Ronta Algeria 4-0 in the first leg of 2025 FIFA U-17 Women Final World Final World Final Round Tie at Remo Stars Stadium on Saturday.
Queen Joseph netted the clamp, while Zainab Raji and Aishat Animashaun each scored one for Nigeria at the meeting.

NFF President Ibrahim Gusau announced cash prizes after the match. He explained that the number of N2M came from NFF while the number of N4M was a gift from Soname.
The Olowokere Bankole side will face Algeria again in reverse equipment at the Mustapha Tchaaker Stadium in Blida next Friday.
The overall winner of the tie will get a place at the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
