The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has revealed plans to organise a CAF C coaching course specifically for women.

NFF technical director Coach Augustine Eguavoen told nff.com on Thursday that the programme will be conducted in three modules.

The first module will run from July 15 to 25, followed by a two-week internship for participants from July 27 to August 7.

Participants will return to Abuja for the second module, scheduled from August 12 to 20, followed by another two-week internship from August 23 to September 4.

The third module, which includes exams for participants, will take place from September 9 to 19.

A total of 30 coaches are expected to attend the CAF C coaching course, with preference given to retired football players and women who are currently involved in coaching but lack formal coaching licenses.

Among the Super Falcons legends taking part are goalkeeper Precious Dede, defender Joy Jegede, forward Vera Okolo, Maureen Eke, Esther Michael, former midfielder Cecilia Nku and former U-20 women’s captain Gloria Ofoegbu.

For the first module starting on Monday, theoretical and practical sessions will be held daily from 8am to 6pm, with intermittent breaks for tea and lunch.
