NGX Roundup: Capitalization of Equity Profit N216BN in the midst of a 3 -day successive defeat

Investors get the N216BN when the capitalization of equity reached N89.9 trillion in the new trading Sunday.

The market records losses in three of the five trading sessions.

Although three days lost in a row, market capitalization increased to N89.9 trillion from N89.7 trillion recorded in the previous week.

Likewise, the All-Share Index (ASI) is valued at 0.20% to close the week at 142,133.03 from 141,845.35 points recorded the previous week.

Nigeria’s equity market began Sunday on Monday, September 22, 2025, with a record of bearish because investors lost N219.65 billion at the end of the trade session.

The Bears continued to damage the market on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, because investors lost N326.17 billion in five hours.

The negative trend continued on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, because investors lost N135.13 billion at the end of the trading session.

The market was closed with a positive record on Thursday, September 25, 2025, because investors obtained N279.37 billion.

The equity market was closed in the green zone on Friday, September 26, 2025, when investors obtained N617.45BN.

Meanwhile, a total turnover of 7,684 billion shares worth N494,126 billion in 116,645 agreements traded this week by investors on the stock exchange floor, in contrast to a total of 2.735 billion shares worth N85,197 billion who exchanged hands last week at 127,284 agreements.

The Financial Services Industry (measured by volume) leads the activity chart with 6.399 billion shares worth N71,807 billion traded in 54,799 offers; Thus contributing 83.27% and 14.53% to the total volume and value of each equity turnover.

The oil and gas industry was followed by 730,517 million shares worth N391,364 billion in 7,059 offers.

In the third place is the service industry, with a turnover of 128,647 million shares worth N962,909 million in 5,863 agreements.

Trading in the top three equity, namely Unity Bank PLC, Aradel Holdings PLC and Holdings Holdings PLC (measured by volume), contributed 5,209 billion shares worth N404.945 billion in total volume of equations and a total value of 67.79% and 81.95%.

Thirty two (32) equity valued in prices for a week, lower than forty (40) equity in the previous week. Fifty one (51) equity depreciated in price, higher than forty -one (41) equity in the previous week, while sixty four (64) equity remained unchanged, lower than sixty six (66) recorded the previous week.

Thomas Wyatt Nig. PLC. Recording the biggest increase in stock prices in the percentage, gained 22.68% followed by Secure Electronic Technology PLC, which increased its share price by 21.33% in the process.

Mecure Industries PLC also increases its share price by 20.83%

On the other hand, Wema Bank PLC recorded a decrease in the largest stock price based on the percentage, spilling 12.41% followed by Fidelity Bank PLC, which dropped 11.08% of its share price.

Eterna PLC also dropped 10.00% of its share price.
