Niger Delta Sports Festival: Mixing results while Delta State hopes to get out strong

The football event of the Niger Delta Sports Festival is heating in Uyo, akwa Ibom. Team Delta State has seen mixed results, with its female team ensuring two impressive victories against Team Rivers (3-0) and the IMO team (2-1), winning six points to be among the best teams in their group.

On the other hand, the male team has faced some setbacks, drawing 1-1 with the Edo team and losing 1-2 against the ABIA team. The ABIA team has been on fire, dominating the Akwa Ibom host team with a 6-0 victory on the first day two to gather 6 points.

The coach Felix Onigbe, of the Delta team, is still optimistic, believing that his male team will recover in his next matches against Rivers, Cross Rivers, Bayelsa, Ondo, IMO and the state of Akwa Ibom.

The soccer teams participating in the Niger Delta Sports Festival include ABIA, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo and Rivers.
