One of the lawyers who arrested the leader of the native Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, lawyer Ifeiri Ejiofor, had asked the President of Bola Tinubu to take immediate and firm action to end the murder and bloodshed that is currently in several parts of the country won by bandits to end the bandits of suspects.
In a statement that he shared on his page X on Tuesday, lawyers and human rights activists said it was very important that the government had to intervene to end what he described as an unconsistent massacre carried out by raging the shepherds in several states in Nigeria.
Ejiofor, who condemned the waves of violence in the highlands, Benue, Edo, Delta and Enugu, said Nigeria was currently in the grip of the “grave national tragedy.”
“Every day, the numbers of new victims are reported by the media, reducing human life becomes mere statistics, as if we count livestock,” Ejiofor said in the statement.

“This is an embarrassing charge of our government and insulting our humanity together.”

“The massacre continues from the innocent Nigerians by the robbers and inertia of the government in front of the massacre can be condemned and unacceptable.
