Nigeria on the Path of Economic Prosperity – Tinubu

The Tinubu Ball President on Friday convinced the Nigerians that the country’s economy had “turned around,” following the success of their economic economic reform.

The President, according to a statement by a special advisor to information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, stated this in the coronation of Oba Rashidi Ladoja as Olubadan’s 44th of Ibadanland.

He assured Nigerians that they would soon start enjoying the fruits of reforms and grateful for their patience and support.

Tinubu links the success of his government policy with the support of eternal and sacrifice of the Nigerians.

He said: “Today, I am honored to bring cheering news that our economy has been reversed and now there is light at the end of the tunnel.”

The president praised Olubadan for his long -lasting role in Nigerian democracy, mainly because he won over illegal impeachment as a former Governor of State Oyo.

“Today is a pleasant day for me, Kabiyesi. Happy birthday to you. This is also a pleasant day for you. As President of the Republic of Federal Nigeria, is a great honor to witness this history.

“All the things we start together with great hopes, and the history that we share will happen. I pray that you live long and celebrated as one of the rare leaders in history to ride your ancestral throne.

“I pray that God gives you more years of joy, prosperity, and relevance,” added President Tinubu.

He described Oba Ladoja as a symbol of resilience, referring to his political journey marked by perseverance and commitment to public services.

Previously, the Governor of the State of Oyo, Seyi Makinde, gave office staff to Olubadan and recognition certificate.

Makinde noted that the coronation had ended the remaining dispute over the traditional throne of Ibadan among the ruling families.

The Governor said: “It is a great honor to celebrate the 44th Ibadan Olubadan. All sons and daughters of state and daughters at home and in the diaspora are proud of this historic moment. We must uphold our traditions.

“I also want to say all the challenges related to Ibadan traditional institutions are now over, and put behind us. This means that the process is now sacred.”

He also thanked President Tinubu for respecting the event and showed respect to their people and traditions.

In his remarks, Oba Ladoja described his increase as a divine journey and proof of purpose and destiny of life.

“I accept not only office equipment but also the responsibility attached to him.”

“I want to really appreciate my brothers and friends, President of the Tinubu Bola, because he respects me and all the sons and daughters of Ibadanland with his visit here today.

“Not with the strength, influence, connection, or money that we are here today. I appreciate God for bringing me to the finish line from the starting point as a mogaji from the Arusa family which includes, Isale Osi, Ibadan, in 1992 until now,” said the king.

Oba Ladoja promised to respect the trust of the council and King of Olubadan, and expressed his gratitude to the Governor for validating his election.

Several high officials at the event were Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), Biodun Oyewbanji (Ekiti), and Ademola Adeleke (OSUN).

The former governor at the event was Donald Duke (Cross River), Olagunsoye Oyinola (OSUN), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (Kano), Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun), and Senator Gbenga Daniel (Ogun).

Tinubu was accompanied by the event by the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and Chair of the Inland Federal Revenue Service (FIRS), Zacch Adedeji.

Also present were Sultan Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, Alaafin from Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade, and Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye.
