The Nigeria Athletics Federation (AFN) has officially presented the nation’s contingent for world relays 2025 that will take place in Guangzhou, China.
With an automatic qualification for the 2025 World Championship in Tokyo at stake, Nigeria is doing everything possible, presenting elite sprinters in four of the six relay events.
The team, full of raw talent, Olympic Pedigrí and continental champions, is expected to challenge the best in the world while they seek to consolidate Nigeria’s dominance on the track.

With names known as Tobi Amusan, the current world champion and the obstacles of the Commonwealth, and the favor of Ofili, one of the fastest women of more than 200 meters, the expectations are high.
The male team also presents a formidable alignment led by Udodi Onwuzurike and Poyls Ashe, both seasoned on the global stage.
The Nigeria team will search in Sprint, Power and Baton-Pass-Pass to International Glory once again and will bring the victory and the Guangzhou medals home.
