Nigeria Records Clean Sweep No. 4 in Abeokuta while Oyibu shines in the 200 meters of women

The Nigeria team continued its impressive performance in the African U18 and U20 championship in Abeokuta with another clean sweep, its competition room, this time in the final of 200m female U20.

The success Oyibu assaulted victory in a sensational way, marking a new better staff (PB) of 23.56s to ensure the gold medal. His performance was not only a sample of power and speed, but also an important statement of his growing potential in the continental stage.

Finishing just behind her was Chioma Cynthia Nweke, the current 100m U20 champion, who claimed money with a time of 23.95s, while Lucy Nwankwo completed the sweep of podium for Nigeria, obtaining the bronze at 24.24s.

This last result marks the fourth clean sweep of Nigeria in the championships, underlining the country’s rich sprint talent and the overwhelming presence in the youth and junior categories of African athletics.
