Tunji-ojo said the federal government would no longer tolerate the situation in which some companies prevented Nigerian immigration services (NIS) from carrying out their legal duties.

“We have agreed that the era when some companies behave very little irresponsible by distorting, blocking, and avoiding the target of immigration laws will no longer be tolerated.

“We all agree with the private sector that under the law, immigration services have the right to do their work and must carry out their mandate.

“We will be very hard to any company that avoids or prevents NIS from carrying out its legal responsibilities, because we will not tolerate it in the future,” added.
