Nigerian government problems are alert to floods in Adamawa, Kano, 9 other states

The federal government has warned the floods that will occur in 38 locations in 11 states caused by heavy rain.

In the warning issued by the Ministry of Environment Federal and seen by journalists on Wednesday, the government warned that heavy rain from Wednesday, to Sunday, could trigger flooding in the state.

The notification was signed by the Director in Erosion, Flood. and Department of Coastal Zone Management, National Flood Early Warning Center in the Ministry, Usman Bokani.

Affected locations are:

* Adamawa – Mubi
* Akwa Ibom – Edor, Upenekang, Oron, and Eset
* Borno-ngala and Maiduguri * Bauchi-Azare, Bauchi, Itas, Jama’are, Kafin-Madaki, Jama’a, Kari and Misau].
* Highlands – Jos, Bukuru and Mangu * Yobe – Jakusko, Machina and, Dapchi]*Katsina – Daura
* Kano – Kunchi, Kano, Gezawa, Wudil, Bebeji, Sumila and Wada Budget
*Jigawa -miga, gwarram, diginsa, ringim and dutse
* Cross River – Calabar and AKPAP
* Zamfara – Bungudu and Gusau.
