Nigerian military jet mistakenly bombed the mani community in the territory of the Maru regional government in the state of Zamfara after a deadly midnight attack by Bandits.
The bandits reportedly killed more than 20 farmers and kidnapped more than 50 villagers in Sunday attacks.
A security analyst, Tanyanine with the handle of @dankatsina50, shared news on platform X on Monday.
He said the Nigerian Air Force jet could be mistakenly bombarded the community after a bandit attack.

According to Tadassine, military aircraft deployed by military authorities to protect the community during the attack which was mistakenly fired on local residents, added to the tragedy.
“Yesterday, Bandit attacked the Mani community from Maru Lga in Zamfara and killed more than 20 farmers. More than 50 people were still in captivity. A military aircraft that came for protection was wrongly fired because of alert.
“The state government of Zamfara and the security agency have not released an official statement about the incident,” Takatine wrote.
