The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) successfully arrested two suspicions in relation to the atrocious murder of a Chinese, Mr. Chen Wang, an employee of WH Great Resource Ltd., Ogere, Ogun State, following a coordinated and guided operation by intelligence.
Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a press declaration, Tuesday in Abuja, said that the accident, which took place on January 12, 2025, immediately attracted attention when the Ogun State Police Command received a rescue call regarding the discovery of Wang’s body within its office seats.
He said the preliminary results revealed that the deceased had suffered fatal wounds on the chest.
“In line with the strategic police mandate of the Police General Inspector, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, the NPF technical intelligence unit (TIU) was mobilized to provide high -level operational and technological support to the criminal investigation department of the State of Ogun (Scid), Eleweran.
“The investigations discovered that two factory workers suspected of being in a romantic relationship took advantage of the reduction of staff on the day of the accident.
“While it was in extraordinary service, presumably disabled the company’s safety system, illegally accessed to the office of Mr. Wang and committed the fatal attack. Subsequently they stole the keys to his residence, which later chose before escaping the state with stolen money.
“After weeks of technical surveillance and tactical coordination, agents of the headquarters of the force, working closely with the detective scids, they monitored and arrested the suspicions identified as Yunusa Abdullahi, 25 years old, from the state of Borno, and from the peace Keno Danlami, 20 years old, from the state of Taraba, on July 14, 2025, to Jos, where they had been in the Hands.
“The quick deployment of digital forensic, biometric analysis and human intelligence by the Nigerian police played a decisive role in bringing the authors to justice,” said Adejobi.
According to the spokesperson, “IGP Egbetokun praises the State Police Command of Ogun, the Technical Intelligence Unit of the Force and all the officers involved in the operation for their diligence, professionalism and incessant search for justice.
“He further reiterates the commitment of the Nigerian police forces to safeguard all residents, citizens and foreign citizens in the same way, through proactive police and investigations led by precision.”
The FPRO said that the suspicions were in custody and would be accused in court at the end of the current investigations.
