The Bádminton Federation of Nigeria and its contingent have arrived in Toledo, Spain, for the second phase of the prestigious Spanish Parabadminton International Championshipwhere the main parabatals of the Nation will compete against elite players from around the world.

The first phase of the tournament, held in Vitoria, Spain, saw Nigeria Field Five athletes in several categories of events. The Nigeria team caused a strong impression, with the Paralympic medalist Eniola Balaji ensuring a gold medal at the SL3 event, defeating Oksana Kozyna of Ukraine in the final.
For the second phase in Toledo, three of Nigeria’s main Para-Badminton players: Bolaji Eniola, Nnana Jeremiah and Eze Chukwuebuka) are ready to represent the country.
BOLAJI ENIOLA, classified No. 2 in the world in its SL3 classification, will compete in the SL3 Singles event in a group of three opponents.
Eze Chukwuebuka and Nnana Jeremiah will join in the double SL4 category, with the aim of having a strong impact.
An official of the Federation expressed his confidence in the possibilities of the team:
“We have high hopes in the medals. Eniola occupies the number 2 in the world and is one of the players planted for this championship. We believe that she and the team will proud Nigeria. The same goes for our double team: we firmly believe in your ability to bring home success. “
