The Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC) in the Federal Capital Region (FCT) on Thursday vowed to mobilize its members to close the city after the Tinubu Bola President ended the inauguration of his project on July 3.
NLC Chair at FCT, Dr. Stephen Knabayi, revealed this to journalists in Abuja.
He said the move was to attract the attention of FCT administration to overcome the strikes that still had regional council workers.
The primary health care center in FCT has been below the key and key for weeks, elementary school teachers are currently at home while the six regional council secretariats are abandoned by workers for months.
Elementary school teachers and other regional council workers have begun a series of attacks on non-payment minimum wages and 40 percent strange allowances.
Other problems that have not been resolved include non-implementation of 25 percent and 35 percent of salary increases, and N35,000 wage awards, among other benefits.

The Chairman of the NLC, who described the development as “very unfortunate”, said the Chairperson of the Regional Council left the union without options other than closing the FCT.
He remembered that the union on June 13, issued a seven -day ultimatum to the FCT administration to overcome the demands of teachers, health workers and other regional council workers.
He added that the ultimatum followed the resolution of the executive of the Nigerian Teacher (NUT) Combined Trade Union, the Nigerian Regional Government Employee (Nulge) and the National Association of Health Workers Union (Nahwu).
Knabayi noted that the expired ultimatum on June 20 and the NLC had not taken any action.
“We have to expand the ultimatum because of the Tinubu movement to inaugurate the FCT executed project.
“Members of the union will take over Abuja’s paths soon after Tinubu ended the inauguration, hopefully on July 3.
“We are waiting to end and we will gather to increase the actions we planned,” he said.
