NLO lists the requirements for the exercise of the PCMA

All participating clubs have been reminded of the mandatory requirements for the 2026 National League One Pre-Competition Medical Assessment (PCMA) exercise.

Nigeria’s main regulatory body for the grassroots football league has the health and safety of athletes in the sport as its top priority.

To ensure a smooth and organized process, clubs have been informed of the following strict eligibility criteria that must be met before any individual can be cleared to undergo the medical examination.

Evidence of payment tops the list of requirements, as only clubs that have fully settled their registration and participation fees for the 2026 season will be scheduled for the PCMA.

The Player License Collection is presented below as only clubs that have completed their registration process and are in physical possession of their official player licenses are eligible for the process.

The NLO advises that no player will be examined without a valid NLO-issued license presented at the time of medical evaluation.

In addition, it establishes that any club that arrives at the selection center without meeting the two previous requirements will be rejected. There will be no exceptions to the directive to ensure you maintain the integrity of your medical records and league documentation.

Finally, all clubs have been urged to finalize their payments or collect their licenses by immediately going to the NLO Secretariat or their respective Zonal Offices to avoid being excluded from medical practice.
