Omobolaji James, the attacking midfielder of Tradesafe FC, expressed his disappointment in a post-match interview with sports247. βFor us, itβs a very disappointing outing because we came for the 3 points, and unfortunately, we couldnβt get it,β he said.
James attributed their performance to the excessive respect they accorded Gateway FC in the first half. βWe did not press high, we should have at least won the game in the first 15 minutes, but unfortunately, we couldnβt do that,β he lamented.
The lack of created chances was another factor that James highlighted. βWe didnβt create enough chances. The little we saw, we couldnβt convert. And well, thatβs the game of football, you get punished at times when you do not take your chances,β he added.
Despite the setback, James remained optimistic about their future games. βWe will try as much as possible in our subsequent games to get the three points,β he concluded.
This match serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of football, where missed opportunities can lead to unexpected outcomes. As Tradesafe FC looks forward to their next game, fans will be hoping for a more decisive performance.
